Sponsorship

Dear prospective sponsor,

Southwater Football Club was established in 1958 with the aim to provide the opportunity to all those in the Southwater community and surrounding areas, to participate in football; regardless of ability.

In the years since, we have developed into a Football Club boasting over 300 members that form twenty teams and a Soccer School for those too young to participate in a formal team. We boast FA Chartered Standard status and work closely with the organising committees of the Leagues in which we compete and with Sussex FA. We focus on promoting fair play, inclusivity and diversity, and to protect the welfare of all participants, whether from our Club, our opponents, or the match officials.

Our Men’s First Team made their debut in the Southern Combination Football League in the 2021-2022 season. Last season we entered a team for the first time into the under 18s league of the same competition. Our other Men’s teams compete in the West Sussex Football League, with our Veteran’s team playing in the SSFL Sussex Sunday League, and our younger age groups playing in the Horsham and District Youth Football League. This season we have started a women’s football team which is already proving very popular.

We aim to develop our players from our Soccer School, through our Junior teams and Youth teams and then into our Senior teams; and eventually into our Veteran’s team. We do this through great coaching, careful pastoral care, and by providing the very best facilities and equipment possible. At our home at Southwater Sports Club, which itself has over 2000 members. We have two football pitches, dressing rooms, and other facilities used by our Senior and Youth Teams (and our Soccer School) which are the envy of all the Leagues in which we compete.

All of our kit is now supplied by InterSport Lewes following our signing of a six-year kit partnership with Italian manufacturer Kappa, meaning that everyone from our Soccer School to our First Team will wear the same kit.

To help us maintain the high standards that we have set and to further improve our Football Club, we are asking for your support via sponsorship. We have prepared a variety of example packages, details of which are set out on the following pages, which we hope are of interest to you. However, we would be delighted to discuss a bespoke package upon your request.

Yours faithfully,

James Sambrook
